Xiamen Tianzuo Medical will close for China’s National Day Golden Week from Thursday 1 to Wednesday 7 October 2026. Email and WhatsApp stay monitored throughout, factory production restarts on Thursday 8 October, and export bookings pause for the break. Full schedule + Q4 tips.
According to China’s State Council, the National Day holiday in 2026 runs for seven days, from Thursday 1 October to Wednesday 7 October. Two adjusted working days — Sunday 20 September and Saturday 10 October — keep the schedule balanced, which means Saturday 10 October is a normal working day for our office and most forwarders. Standard operations, including production and export documentation, resume on Thursday 8 October.
National Day marks the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and for most families here it is the longest holiday of the autumn: a week to travel, visit relatives, or enjoy Xiamen’s coastal boardwalk lined with flags and holiday lights. For us at Tianzuo Medical the week also marks how far the factory has come — from a Xiamen workshop in 2011 to a manufacturer supplying 614+ distributors in 34+ countries. Wherever you are reading this, we wish you a joyful October and a strong final quarter.
Sales & inquiry desk — email and WhatsApp stay monitored; replies may be slower than on working days.
Factory & production — all lines pause 1–7 October and restart with the first shift on Thursday 8 October.
Export & logistics — new shipping bookings pause; ports and trucking stay busy right up to 30 September.
Adjusted working day — Saturday 10 October is open, so forwarder handovers and document signing can proceed that day.
Golden Week compresses a month of export activity into the days either side of the break. Trucking and customs capacity tightens sharply in late September as factories race to hand over containers, and the first week after the holiday brings a backlog that clears gradually. If you are shipping manual resuscitators, anesthesia masks, oxygen masks or anti-choking devices this quarter, book vessel space now rather than after the break, expect transit times to slip by three to five days in early October, and use the 10 October adjusted working day for document handovers if your forwarder keeps office hours.
With the holiday followed immediately by peak-season order flow, October production slots fill quickly. Our standard lead time is 15–25 days for catalogue items at low MOQ, which means an order confirmed in the first half of October is realistically a November shipment — still comfortably ahead of the Christmas retail rush, but only if confirmed soon. For OEM and ODM projects — custom branding, private-label packaging and configuration — artwork approval and sampling add one to two weeks.
Our international sales team keeps an eye on enquiries throughout the break. Email Stephen@tzmed.com, message us on WhatsApp +86 13074864868, or send your request through our contact page. Quotations, sample requests and OEM/ODM briefs can all be submitted as usual; enquiries received during the holiday are answered in order of arrival once the office fully reopens on Thursday 8 October.
Xiamen Tianzuo Medical manufactures emergency, anesthesia and respiratory consumables in-house — injection moulding, blow moulding, liquid silicone and extrusion lines running under an ISO 13485:2016 quality system, with CE and FDA listings, annual capacity above 10 million units, and low MOQs with full OEM/ODM private label. Planning your Q4 order? Write to Stephen@tzmed.com and we will confirm production slots right after the holiday.
